When you select Wind Circle to move from your existing telephony environment to our cloud service, we handle all aspects of the project for you from mapping out all your phone numbers and requirements to final cutover and end-user training.
Below are several of the most frequently asked questions we get about our Hosted VoIP service.
- You can port your existing telephone numbers to our service at no charge.
- There is no loss of service while numbers are being ported.
- You can get new number(s) local to your area, we have access to blocks of numbers in all major exchanges. The timeframe needed to acquire a new number is 1 to 5 days.
- You can continue to use existing Auto-Attendants.
- All Local, Local Long Distance and Long Distance Calling to the lower forty eight contiguous states is included in the per seat price. International calling is additional.
- An Internet connection is required and you can connect to our cloud service via MPLS, T1 without QoS, raw Internet DSL, State-sponsored network, broadband, etc.
- Separate Internet connections - one for voice and one for data is the ideal situation but is not required.
- All seat features are available to you regardless of the Internet connection you have.
- A backup connection to maintain voice service if your primary connection is interrupted can easily be configured to automatically start so voice service is not lost.
- Quality of Service (QoS) can be guaranteed with these types of Internet connections: MPLS circuit or a state/federally sponsored network we are peering with (such as the Illinois Century Network or ENAN II Network).
- Our service can integrate with analog paging systems, specialty hardware is required.
- It may be possible to use existing VoIP telephones you already have deployed. Our team will need to evaluate the handsets you have to make a final determination.
